Hello, I just received my vivoactive 3, and the watch does not connect to garmin connect on my phone (android). The watch is recognized by the phone (it's in the list of bluetooth devices) but then it does not connect, it is stuck on the pairing screen.

Regarding battery, i dont' know if drain is more with OHR, with 3 leds continuosly flashing and processing power to detect pulses from noise, or simple receiving ant+ packets. I don't think this is what is happening as there is no HR set threshold that I know of that can be set in the Vivoactive 3 (I have checked all the HR related menus). My heart rate wasn't particularly fast last night when the alert displayed so that's another reason why I think your answer is suspect at this time.
